My name is Dominic and I'm the founder of Mr H Bars. My passion has always been about cooking and food from a young age. After deciding I wanted to be a pastry chef, I found myself being presented a place on The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts Specialised Chef's Scholarship.
After graduating in 2016, I decided to become a pastry chef and worked from there. During my time in hotels, I fell in love working with chocolate from there my passion grew and wanted to expand my knowledge. I have worked at Coworth Park, Pennyhill Park and also been The Head Pastry Chef at Wentworth Golf Club. In time throughout being a pastry chef, I have also cooked for high profile clients, The Royal Family and recently was a private chef for a top English Football player.
Fast forward a couple years, I competed in numerous competitions such as The Junior Chocolate Masters and also The UK Pastry Open. After competing, I decided to create my own brand of chocolates and decided to enter them into the Academy of Chocolate Annual Awards. Out of this, I won 8 awards. Today, I am now recognised as a member and also judge for The Academy of Chocolate.
In the middle of 2020, I had an idea of which a protein bar was created using high end products of which a restaurant or hotel would use to produce dishes and pastries. After much development and tasting, I was happy with a recipe I came up with using quality ingredients. We have such amazing ingredients right on our doorstep and it's time that we showcase this more than ever.
